The Scribehost brand was started in August 2002 for authors and webmasters who want good quality, ethical hosting and diverse account features without having to pay outrageous fees. We welcome all kinds of sites: journals, blogs, commentary; fiction, nonfiction, zines; authors, graphic artists, gamers. Before signing up, be sure and read our Terms of Service (translation: fan sites such as fiction archives, show or actor appreciation, episode guides, or image galleries are joyfully welcomed, but illegal activities — like video download archives — are not.)

Scribehost is a member of Hosting Assured, an independent third-party hosting ratings and complaint mediation group. We accordingly abide by the web host's code of business ethics:

The staff behind Scribehost have been working with the Internet since 1991, and in business since 1997. This is their latest venture: branded hosting for authors, writers, and fans.
